Artist Biography
Patricia Northcroft is a British sculptor known for her delicate bronze works, which can be found in galleries across Great Britain and abroad. After an early career in publishing, where Northcroft spent some time selecting photographs of African wildlife and European birds, she attended the Frink School of Figurative Sculpture in 2003, where she expanded her practice to include clay, wood, cement, and fiberglass, always drawing inspiration from the natural world. Her mastery of the lost wax method of casting into bronze have earned her prestigious accolades, including the Bidder and Borne award from the Royal Society of Miniature Painters, Sculptors and Gravers in 2008.
